About International ACM The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the international organization most closely related to the fields of Computer and Information Sciences. Its major purpose is to provide resources to its student and professional membership in an effort to promote advancement of related professions. Current works include a huge digital library, several periodical publications targeted at different segments of the membership, an international collegiate programming contest, conferences and various career resources.
